Rocking Those Bricks

Have you ever seen a baby who rocks?   My daughter was a rocker from the time she was able to crawl until she became a teenager, at which time being a “rocker” took on a totally different meaning.

She would rock in her baby bed, in her high chair, in the car…and anywhere else she happened to be.  Once, while she was still very little, she sat against my parents’ fireplace, and before I could stop her, she leaned forward and came back hard right into the bricks.   It was the last time she tried that…on bricks at any rate.
